Day 2 Shoot - April 27, 2013

Failure and Tips/Advice

I went out to Chinatown this time to shoot video, but it failed. If you want to take good video you need a tripod. With that being said, here's my very first tip/advice to all the people who are film enthusiast, NEVER FORGET YOUR TRIPOD.  I kept telling myself not to forget it and in the end I did.  What I will do for now on is make a list of all the things I need and make sure I have everything before stepping out.  This applies to anything that anybody who is going out to do any kind of project. It's good to make a list and I'm learning the hard way, but that's why I'm sharing this to everyone.  It wasn't a complete failure though, I scouted around what areas/angles I want to shoot when I head out there again sometime.  We'll see if Day 3 is better.

You'll see more of previews here so make sure to come back and keep a lookout.

Speed and Cars

I have not met one person that can say that they don't like cars.  The 'Fast and the Furious' films are huge not only because of the story, actors, etc... it's because people love speed and cars.

People who have seen my work/gallery know that I shoot a lot photographs of cars.  Many of these photographs are taken at auto shows, streets, and car dealerships.  One of my favorite locations I always tend to visit when I go downtown Chicago is a dealership called Bentley Gold Coast (it's a couple of blocks away from the Water Tower Place).  Looking at these exotic cars out in the street here really is something else. The atmosphere is great in this area. I really can't say the same to other dealerships I've ever been to.  You will be seeing lots of photographs from this spot in the future.

For those that follow my work..here in this blog, you'll see some exclusive work that I don't post in other of my social media sites. Stay tune!
